the babies are coming, the babies are coming!

So after our appointment on Friday we are 0cm dilated and 50% thinned out, which means... the baby isn't coming out anytime soon haha. Darn. She did say considering how small I am, she thinks I have a good enough pelvis to have a vaginal birth, hopefully that opinion doesn't change! We go for our ultrasound on Friday to guesstimate how big he is, dun dun duhhhhhh. He feels like a giant! I know I keep saying I feel like I can't get any bigger and that there is no more room, then the next day I look down and think well how did that happen, how do I keep growing?! He feels like he weighs a lot more now because things are a lot harder, like balance and getting up off the floor/chair/bed etc. and it feels like I move... then 10 seconds later the giant belly comes with, rolling over in bed is a lot of effort and is only worth it because if I don't do it my hips will just break in half. But I am proud to say I can still sleep comfortably with only 3 pillows (one for my head, my body pillow on one side and a little one for between my knees on the other side), I'd say that is a gold star for Krystal...and Dominic I guess because anymore pillows needed and he might get kicked out of the bed!

Thursday we had our final baby shower with Dominic's friends from work. Photobucket
It was a lot of fun and Dom has some good friends! We got a lot more cute stuff including Dominic's favorite- a nerf shotgun, since he was told he wasn't allowed to have a shotgun (only to find out a few days later that my Dad brought him one...come on Dad, you saw the smile on his face when you said you brought him a shot gun and you saw my jaw drop haha how does this happen?!! Somehow whatever I say no to, he eventually ends up getting! Except for the sea-doo's, thankfully!) Photobucket Photobucket
We are so lucky to have such great people in our lives and we are so thankful for everyone that has helped us to celebrate, can't wait for everyone to meet him, he will be surrounded with so much love! Over the weekend we used all our gift cards and money we had accumulated from our showers and managed to get everything else we needed off our registries before he gets here, so we are set now! He will be so spoiled ;)

Logan will be happy to know he will have a new friend to play with when he comes! Laura and Will had baby Stella Marie on August 16th. She was 7lbs 8oz and 20 1/2" long. She is the cutest littlest thing ever and it's really weird to see a baby who is only a few hours old and to think, holy cow, how does one of you fit inside of me haha. Like those cute little feet of yours, ya one of those is poking my ribcage right now. It's a weird perspective. There's a real baby in there, not some tadpole looking thing haha. Laura did a great job and made it sound so easy, hopefully it will go that way for us too. Stella is such a quiet baby and when she does make a noise it's not obnoxious at all, it's flippin adorable haha atleast for now! I'm excited that they had a girl (even though a boy was my guess all along!) now I can shop for girl stuff too, it's a whole new world when you branch out of just looking at the boy stuff! We look forward to learning all about babies together, and maybe some helpful tips since they are a month ahead! Here are some pictures of her:

Hopefully these next 3 weeks won't go by too slow waiting for our own baby to arrive! Although I have a feeling they will crawl by! Luckily we need to catch up on the latest season of Dexter on dvd that just came out yesterday, but it's so good we might get through it in a matter of days haha. And the book I have been waiting for, MockingJay, comes out next Tuesday so that could get me through...ehhhh maybe one day haha these things are just so good I can't make them drag out any longer!
