Telling our friends was fun because nobody knew that we were trying (atleast I don't think they did, of course neither did our family). But I was the most nervous about telling them!
Will and Laura found out after our dinner with dad, we went over to see their new puppy (who is the cutest thing ever!) and we decided to tell them in the way they told us that they were engaged. By coming over and hanging out for awhile acting normal, then dropping the news out of nowhere in the most awkward way possible. Hey this is why we love these people right ;) So Dom says he has this one, he is great at awkward moments, alright it's all yours! We play with the puppy and talk about finals and school being over for them soon. Laura says this is the best day ever for her, she finishes her last final ever, signs for their new house, and gets a puppy...cue Dominic "and...Krystal is pregnant"... what?! omg really?! hurray. Everyone rejoices and hugs go around. We knew they would be excited seeing as Laura has always been asking when the baby was going to come. Seeing their reactions makes us more excited too!
Then we have to wait all the way until Thursday to tell the rest of our friends at game night. This is turning out to be the longest week ever! I can't wait to tell everyone and just breathe! I am super nervous about this one, Dom is not so much. I make a cake to take to game night and just want to say the news as soon as possible so I don't have to sit there any longer keeping it in. Dom wants to play charades and have them guess the news. I don't think I could do it because my face would give it away and I am feeling impatient. So once everyone gets there, I say we brought a cake so everyone could help us celebrate because...we are having a baby. I just remember seeing Eva's shocked face because she was right across from me and maybe everyone's was like that, but it was great. Surprising for sure, and they reacted so much more excitedly then I expected, why was I so worried? Now I can breathe, everyone knows, no more secrets! And best of all everyone is happy for us.
