scanning...

Logan went on Tuesday to get his head scanned to be fit for his cranial band. It was a surprisingly quick appointment! We got to choose from many different solid colors and designs for his helmet and we went with all white so that we can paint it into something totally awesome, sorry if that embarrasses you later in life...better then having a wonky shaped head right?! Then after taking measurements like before we put on a little stocking hat with a hole in the top where a camera thingy went and then, just like at the grocery store, she used a scanning gun from top to bottom and Logan's head popped up in a 3D image on the computer. After that we were done! I think we were there maybe 10 minutes! Logan goes this Tuesday for what I was assured was a much longer appointment in which Logan gets to try on his helmet and they mark where it needs to be shaved down (like around the eyes and ears etc) and then they take it back and fit it for his face. Not sure what else happens but we will find out soon. We haven't decided yet what we are going to paint on his helmet so if you have any suggestions let us know. Logan will be debuting his helmet and newly shaped noggin soon, let's hope it goes well!
