Goo ga ya ya do da

So apparently Logan takes after...well everyone in our families except me, Ash, Erick and my dad (we are the strong silent types right). He has been babbling away all weekend. Over the past week he figured out his 'G' sound and he gooed and gahed like a pro. Then all of a sudden it turned into the 'D' sound so there was a lot of da-da-da-da and mixed in with those are something of a 'Y' sound. I'm still waiting for the one that sounds like mama but for now Logan is all about talking about dada :) It is so fun to listen to him talking away to his toys or us, he really has something to say and sometimes he gets mad that no one is understanding this haha. I have video of all this jibber jabber but I am having difficulty figuring out how to get it from the video camera onto the computer, so I will have to upload it once Dom gets home!

Logan is doing well with his cranial band still, yay. It has been way easier then I ever expected and we are glad that he has adjusted well. He still wears it 23 hours a day, we have occassionally taken it off when we are outside for any long amount of time in the heat, otherwise it's always on! Dom resanded it and we repainted it since the original paint job kept peeling off. It is the same design as last time and it seems to be staying on better now.

We have 7 teeth still- 4 on the top and 3 on the bottom, they are getting huge! We have started to let him eat some solid foods like cheerios, crackers, little bites of what we are having for dinner. He is not all that interested in actually eating it yet, but he does try sometimes. He is more about playing with it. Soon the dogs will learn this and they will be best friends haha. Poor guy is still constipated, although he is getting a little out each day, so I guess that helps. Once he wakes up from his nap we are off to see if we can find the glycerin suppositories, sounds like fun huh ;) By the way this little rhino weighed in at 19lbs 4oz last week! That explains my bulging biceps haha.

Dom put up the swing we bought Logan in the backyard and we tried it out this morning, he likes the motion but is really interested in feeling the rope it hangs with and watching all the birds flying around in the backyard. Luckily our back porch is shaded in the mornings and it's still cool out then so we are going to spend as much time as we can out there before it gets too hot!

Dom, Will and I rode our bikes with the babies (Logan and Stella) in the bike trailer to the farmers market at Jesse Owens park on Friday. The babies did good, they like riding in the trailer as long as it doesn't get too hot in there. We bought some super yummy salsa, pumpkin ginger bread, shelled pumpkin seeds, raspberry vinigarette, green chili tomatillo sauce and Dom got some grass fed beef sausages. We grilled that night with the food and it was delicious! I think we will be going back every friday just for the salsa if nothing else haha it went fast it was so good. So nice to get out and enjoy the cool weather while it lasts!

My sister and Nicole are babysitting for us this Friday so Dom and I can go out and see the Hangover 2. I'm excited because the movie looks great, I hope it's as funny as the first one! I got to go out to the movies yesterday with Jenny and Melanie to see Something Borrowed, it was a cute girly movie. It's funny how much the movie theater is a novelty now. It's fun to go to occassionally and we kind of miss how we could just go to the cheap theater when there was nothing else to do, but with Netflix we really end up seeing the movies we want to it's just a little later then everyone else. Date nights and time to yourself is very much needed though and nice to know we have people around to help us out and keep us sane ;)

I will upload his babbling video later but for now, here's Logan in his favorite swing at the park
