ya that's what we thought too. the notch on the good parenting scale went down a little, until we saw that a lot of people there had babies and strollers and we weren't the only ones, ok we feel a little better.
We were mostly worried about: the drive- seeing as he doesn't like the car much anyways. And the napping- since he is hard to put down anywhere but the swing at home (luckily that started changing before we left).
We drove to Phoenix Thursday after Dom got off work. Logan cried half way there, literally. We left for Vegas after his morning feeding on Friday around 7am, he usually naps another 2-3 hours after that, so that was what we were hoping for in the car and luckily he stayed on schedule and slept about 3 hours. Then we stopped and ate lunch and walked around a bit so he could get out of the car seat then back in the car for the next 2 hours and he did great, phew!
We met up with my family and everyone got to see Logan, some for the first time, some for the second. We celebrated my cousin Dustin's 30th Birthday and we saw the family for dinners and random times in the casino. We met up with my mom and her boyfriend at the Harley Davidson cafe and walked around M&M world and the strip. Logan was donning his "Hangover" gear so that was funny to watch everyone stare at him and Dom. My Aunt and My granny were nice enough to watch Logan in our room for a few hours so we could go gamble. Of course we would have lost less money had we just stayed with the baby haha. But in the end I won a little more then $300, so that was fun. It was great to see everyone, it's always a fun time with my family, they're hilarious! And Logan did great the whole time, it's like he turned into another child, he napped in peoples arms (which he never does for us at home), he napped in the baby bjorn, he was not fussy at all, he had SO much to look at we thought it might overwhelm him but I think he actually enjoyed that part. He had his pacifier in his mouth more then ever this trip, I think that was his "happy place" in the chaos of Vegas haha. We left Sunday around noon and the drive back was ok considering he was awake more this time, he did good until about an hour outside of Tucson, then he just lost it and cried most of the way until he fell asleep, poor guy, we wanted out of the car too haha. So over all it was a successful trip and we had a lot of fun. Good trial run for the rest of our weekend road trips we have planned the rest of the year to Albuquerque twice and California twice...and maybe more who knows!
4 hours into Vegas and Logan drank until he passed out ;)

Long day!

enjoying his "ice cream"

OH YA, Logan's second bottom tooth is starting to peak through now too!! He doesn't seem too bothered by them yet, pain wise, he does make funny faces and play with his tongue on them more though, it's cute!
