I could never picture my life without my sister Ashley. And hopefully I never will!
She is everything a sister is supposed to be: fun, weird, inspiring, annoying, hilarious, sarcastic, dependable, moody, carefree, smart, goofy and just plain crazy. You may not "get" her, sometimes I don't, but the wonderful thing about her is that it doesn't matter. She is who she is, without apology, without judgement, take it or leave it- that's something I hope I can learn from her. I love her free spirit.
She has dealt with a lot in her life and she continues to grow into a beautiful person. No matter what life throws at her she has an inner strength that's admirable. I love who she was, I love who she is, and all that she will be.
If you are around us when we are together you will probably hear at least one disney song, perhaps see an interpretive dance set to Bohemian Rhapsody, learn about that thing I threatened to do to Ashley when I was really drunk after my bachelorette party, wonder why we are making weird velociraptor noises and try to understand what "Trom To Tesk of Toto, Tear Torthoy, Tate Toz, Took The Thoes, Tind Tour Town Tway Tome, Tincerely *pawprint* Toto" means and why we are so good at being in unison.
We have fun together, we laugh together, we can be ourselves completely around each other and everything about our relationship is priceless. We may not see each other as often as we could or should or try to, and we really suck at talking on the phone, but it doesn't matter, none of it matters. She is my little sister and I love her. Always.
