Logan celebrated his first birthday with a Very Hungry Caterpillar themed party on Saturday September 10. We were lucky to have so many friends and family come help us make this day so special! Granny came from Texas and Grandpa from Mexico and Mimi from Phoenix plus Auntie Ashley and Nicole and all our friends from town. Mommy had fun getting everything ready for the party (I do love a good theme!) and it all turned out so cute. Poor baby had to celebrate with his cast on but that didn't stop the fun. We had a lot to eat and it was fun watching you 'open' presents, you weren't always interested in the actual unwrapping but you did enjoy what was inside! Your favorite present to play with while we were opening was oddly enough clothing haha you got a Cardinals jogging suit from Will, Laura and Stella, and you thought it was the best! Everyone signed a stuffed caterpillar for you too so you can remember who came to help you celebrate. You got to eat a red icing cake of the caterpillars face with your hands and boy did you have fun with the frosting. Only mommy should have thought about what a baby smeared with red all over his face would look like...zombie baby! Oh well, it was still cute! We had so much fun with you and I still can't believe you are a big 1 year old! Time really does go by so fast with you, I just want to freeze it and keep you my little baby :) Happy Birthday little bug, I love you!
