A baby by Tuesday!

Welcome to day -3 of babies due date, I figured he would want to be late. Well he has been given his ultimatum, come out on your own or Monday night the process gets started to evict you! Our doctors appointment on Friday went well, didn't end up needing to check fluid levels, just did the non stress test and got to watch babies heart rate and found out I was having contractions 7-10 minutes apart I just don't realize that what I thought was baby moving and pushing his butt against me was a contraction I guess. She asked me if I felt the contraction when it was happening, I said no I figured they would hurt, she assured me they will eventually! After everything looked good we asked to be induced on Monday if he doesn't come out before then, so we go to the hospital at 9pm Monday night to start a medicine I get a special drink every two hours to "ripen" my cervix (ripen might be another word I am not a fan of after that statement, we will put it right up there with moist and raw, ew) then early Tuesday morning we start the pitocin, a few hours later the dr will break my water and then who knows how long after that there will be a baby! So that leaves us with one more night of good normal sleep at home, that is if I can manage to sleep all through the night, the dr told me I could take benadryl to help me sleep, so should I be waking in the wee hours of the morning again I think I will be choosing the little pink pill. And go figure the last weekend of being a family of 2 and I get sick. I have only been sick once this whole pregnancy and that was in the very very beginning, I worked with germy snotty sick kids all year until July and NOW I catch a cold, ha, funny! So Friday-Today has been sore throat, stuffy nose, head full of gunk sick feeling PLUS all the joys of pregnancy, what a way to spend the last days of being pregnant haha. I feel better today but still can't breathe out of my nose, I figured spicy chinese food for dinner last night might help both my problems- clear my stuffy nose and perhaps coerce the baby out...nope, not spicy enough I guess!
Well we are excited to have a new due date now which will definitely be accurate! We are excited for all our family to come down soon and for everyone to meet Logan when he FINALLY arrives!
