As usual he never stops talking! There are so many new words I can't think of them all, he basically tries to say anything we do. He is getting better at saying peoples names he has Will, Ashley and Wee-oo (LeeLu) down for now. He loves telling people he sees "Hi" and waving to them, little attention hog! It always surprises me how much he understands, he's such a big boy now!
Lately he goes through phases of obsession with one object then another...first it was cars, then motorcycles ("mo" said with an engine like growl haha, he has a motorcycle book with pictures of real motorcycles in them and he reads it at least 10 times a day), then basketball (he got a basketball hoop from Aunt Amanda at Christmas and has become quite the professional. He says "ball, shoot, foof- which means hoop, then he shoots it and goes ahhhhhh like a crowd, hilarious), and now it's guitars. Now he is still in love with all of the above but once something new catches his attention and he realizes how awesome it is that's all he wants to play with. We went out to dinner at Guadalajara grill and the mariachis played us a song and after that anything that has a guitar on it is 'the bees knees' for Logan. So naturally I bought him his own guitar that he loves to play with... until the next big thing comes along.
Over the past month little man got all his pointy teeth in and was super happy about that ; / which led to bad sleeping through the night which led to us going in and rocking him back to sleep or sleeping with him which led to a problem once the teething was over and he still wanted to sleep only with us, so we went back to crying it out and it only took one night luckily and he is back to normal. Phew, that was exhausting! How did we deal with such a lack of sleep when he was little?!
We are seeing little signs of an almost 2 year old in the tantrum throwing area. He can now throw himself down and cry like you are depriving him of love and then you walk away and bam he turns it off, sneaky little one. We are working on not throwing our toys, mainly at people and animals haha poor dogs! He doesn't understand how to share yet, which I don't expect him to at this age, but he is doing pretty well at taking turns as long as an adult is helping both kids with their turns, otherwise there is grabbing and taking and he shows off those lungs of his.
