Labor day we went to the zoo, along with the rest of Tucson, and enjoyed looking at the animals before the sun forced us to seek shelter elsewhere. Each time we go to the zoo it gets to be more fun because you can see how all of a sudden he is paying attention and watching the animals and reacting to them. Although I think he enjoys watching the animals outside the cages (crazy children on the loose) as much as the ones on the inside.

We drove to Albuquerque on Thursday to go to my friend Leigh Anna's wedding on Saturday. The drive there with the little booger was surprisingly easy and fast, we made record time! We stayed with Drea and we spent the weekend with family (mom and brother came too!) friends and eating all the delicious food we missed! The wedding was a lot of fun and it was nice to dress up and dance! Logan went to the ceremony and luckily sat through the whole thing quietly while Dom entertained him by reading his alphabet book a billion times. He stayed with Drea's sister Lauren at Dre's house while we went to the reception and had a lot of fun and few drinks :) Sadly enough Logan didn't want to go to sleep for Lauren so 3 hours after his bed time when he was still awake we decided we should head back and rescue Lauren. Of course on the way back we get the text that he had fallen asleep finally haha oh well. The drive home was not as pleasant as the drive there and it took many more pit stops of entertaining the baby but we made it! It is always fun to go "home" and visit my friends. I love Albuquerque, I really do. We'll be back in October, watch out!
