Here is our house in Albuquerque. The front window was my room, it was huge to me then, not sure how big it would seem now haha. We lived in this house from when I was about age 5 1/2- 15 years old. We lived next to a big open field and arroyo where I used to catch lizards all the time. My best friends lived all around me too, Courtney was my first friend I met who lived in the neighborhood in Kindergarten. I met Kyle who lived behind me and Leigh Anna who lived a few streets over when I was in 1st grade. I used to play with Hannah down the street when I was younger and then Drea moved in around 6th grade I think. And Aaron lived behind me as well, can't remember when he moved in. We would all wait for the bus stop together and play hacky sack. My family would have Sarsi our alaskan malamute pull us down our street on a cardboard box "sled" when we had snow days. Drea, Kyle, Aaron and I liked to play basketball and 'ghosts in the graveyard' at Aarons house in the cul-de-sac and we ended up having lots of tee-pee toilet paper wars and well the girls always won right ;) Such good memories in Albuquerque!
I do have a picture of the inside, this is us at Christmas.
Mom always had southwest decor and our house was full of kachina dolls, wooden ladders, walking sticks and dream catcher type things. And yes that is a baby strapped to the wall above the couch haha. That side table next to the couch, I have a picture of me crawling through that as a baby and guess what...it is holding the tv in our guest room right now haha. Vintage.
