one handed wonder

as you may have heard, once you become a mom doing things with one hand while baby is in the other becomes second nature. Some things are simple, you don't even think twice about them. Other times it's a juggling act. and then there's the impossible.

for example, add a baby in one hand to these tasks and you learn just how talented you are...
here's some I have learned

simple- writing the grocery list
juggling act- unloading groceries into fridge
impossible- making a pb&j sandwich

simple-putting laundry into machine
juggling act- pouring the detergent in and turning it on
impossible- one handed folding, it's not pretty

simple- walking to the mail box
juggling act- manuevering stuck key and opening mailbox
impossible- carrying baby, stack of junk mail, and giant package without dropping pacifier on the ground (suck it hard Logan, don't let it fall! haha)

simple- eating finger food
juggling act- eating spaghetti (twirling, not as easy when nobody is holding the bowl)
impossible- eating a breakfast burrito (unless you like your baby covered in dripping salsa)

simple- brushing hair
juggling act- brushing teeth
impossible- changing clothes

simple- zipping
juggling act- snapping
impossible- buttoning

simple- eating cookies
juggling act- scooping cookie dough onto cookie sheets
impossible- measuring, pouring and mixing ingredients for cookie dough

and the latest:

simple- cheering people on at mini golf Photobucket
juggling act- taking pictures that aren't blurry Photobucket
impossible- actually partaking in mini golf Photobucket
