We now go to appointments every 2 weeks from here on until they become weekly at some point. But the recent appointments are all the same, listen to the heartbeat, has he been moving?, any questions? then 5 minutes later we are free to go. I got my glucose test done last week to test for gestational diabetes. You have to go drink a super sugary drink in five minutes or less and sit there for an hour before they take your blood. At least they give you a choice, orange or fruit punch flavor? I went for fruit punch, which was ok until about half way through when you realize this might actually take 5 minutes since it is not so tasty. But really it wasn't too bad and I thought Logan would be on a sugar high and trying to break out of there but he was relatively quiet. Good news- no gestational diabetes, bad news- slightly anemic, so iron pills are added to the daily regiment of vitamins. Otherwise everything is good and he is measuring on time still. We start our first of three baby classes on Wednesday, and it is all about taking care of the newborn. Then next Saturday is our 8 hour childbirth prep class, I am predicting after this is over I will be crying about how he HAS to come out of there, I believe my last visual I gave everyone was pushing a watermelon through a cheerio...ouch! The day after that class is our tour of the hospital, hopefully not as scary. Then a few days after that we have a breastfeeding class, hopefully more helpful then frightening but I can see how it could be both! I imagine by July when all our classes are done we will be freaking out and on overwhelm but there's no turning back now!
Will and Laura have their new house all painted and ready and they have moved out (for the most part!) it's amazing what paint will do to transform an all baby blue house into something not of the smurf world. It's so nice now! And they have a cute little pool in the back yard as well, can we call this 'friends with benefits' without being weird ;) So now that all the chaos of 4 people, 3 dogs and un gato sharing a living space is over we can start moving things out of the baby room, (it turned into storage for us) and back to their original space and start getting it ready for Logan and all these 'projects' I have in mind. I only have 3 more days of work left :( but that means more time to fill with getting things ready and I have the strong need to organize lately so this is all coming at a good time I guess!
Happy 4 year Anniversary to us! I wish we could have the wedding all over again, it was such a fun night! To celebrate we are going to Blanco- tacos and tequilas tonight for hopefully the best guacamole in Tucson (at least it was rated that in 2008, although a guacamole tour around Tucson sounds quite fabulous!). Saturday we are going to go see Toy Story 3 and paint something for Logan's room at the mall. I'm super excited for it all!
It's always fun to look back at these pictures, enjoy!
