We took a weekend trip to Melanie's uncle's cabin in Alpine last weekend and we were victorious! A 5 hour turned 6 hour car ride because of 2 stops to feed Logan, otherwise he slept the whole way there, yay! He was great all weekend and we had a fun time with all our friends. We got to use the pack-n-play which worked out great and he got to wear some of his cute colder weather clothes. I took him for a walk around the woods in the baby bjorn for the first time with our friends and learned that hiking up a hill with a 10lb plus baby strapped to your chest is pretty much like hiking up a hill while 10 months pregnant, ya won't be doing that again! But still it was a good work out haha. It wasn't as cold as last year when we went and got to see some snow but the weather was nice. The car ride back went well too, except for we tried to make it back with only one stop to feed the baby and he caught us trying to be sneaky so he had a little meltdown till we pulled over and fed him for the second time, then after that he was back asleep and happy. So the car ride and trip went well because we had a happy baby woohoo AND I was victorious in not overpacking for Logan, a miracle I know, he only had 2 onesies extra, go me!
