L-O-G-A-N

The projects are starting to come together and some of them are even getting finished haha. Although I started repainting the toy chest first, Logan's name letters were more fun to do so they got pushed to the front of the to-do list. I saw an example of letters on etsy.com (which is a super fun place to look around on for homemade goodies!) that had the same animals as our crib bedding on them so we decided to try that on Logan's letters. here is the before:

I drew in pencil the little creatures on the letters, Ashley came over to help me paint so then we went to paint them a tan-ish color and oops that covers up my pencil drawings, so after going over them in pen we could get to the painting and not lose our pictures, phew!

Turns out painting little creatures with lots of little details takes an amazing amount of time haha we had pretty little paintbrushes I thought but toothpicks were working just as well! After all the animals and trees were painted (almost 5 hours later!) we went and used a pen for the faces and this is how it turned out:

I love it, thanks Ashley for sticking around through two movies, pb&j and grapes to finish these with me!

I'm looking forward to finishing the toy chest now haha and once we buy this bookshelf we like at Target, all the big items in the room will be done...I think! It's all coming together and everytime I walk in there I am like ooooo our tree is so cool haha.
